Electrical Engineer for experimental physics research

Adecco’s client, a large international IT company, is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer for their laboratory in Copenhagen.

Our client collaborates with many leading universities in this research and highly technical area. Our client’s research lab has a very high priority with our client and this is a unique opportunity to work with some of the leading professionals in this area.

The job
In this role you will play an important role as supporter to the team and the experimental work to improve and strengthen the lab infrastructure. Job tasks will be within:

  • Measurement of III-V material based electrical devices at cryogenic temperatures
  • Stabilizing the associated packaging
  • Organization and presentation of the measurement data

In this position you will have the opportunity to work in a large high-tech international company, and to make a positive impact in a highly dynamic environment of world class scientist and engineers. You will be surrounded by professional colleagues and be working closely with the III-V grower engineering team to continuously review and improve device performance. Moreover you will be working in a local cleanroom with a broad spectrum of recently purchased high end cleanroom equipment.

Who are you?
For this role we are looking for a highly motivated Electrical Engineer with experience within circuits, electrical tests and measurements, computer programming and knowledge of Phyton. This position also requires you being fluent in English, both oral and written.

We expect you to have a master’s degree in physics, electrical engineering or a related discipline. The ideal candidate also has a strong physics and semiconductor or research lab background, at least one year of experience with hands-on experience in high-precision measurement instruments and electrical testing of semiconductor devices. It is desirable if you have experience within techniques such as electrical transistor characterization, cryogenic low noise measurements, data analysis, and programming (python, matlab).

As a person you are a strong communicator, you are highly organized and interested in solving technical problems that require collaboration between differently skilled technicians and engineers. You are efficient, timely, precise, and know the importance of documenting and sharing results and knowledge.

You will be employed by Adecco, but working full-time at our customer’s location. Some weekend work may be required from time to time.
