Junior Nanofabrication Engineer for experimental physics research

Adecco’s client, a large international IT company, is looking for a junior profile within Nanofabrication to work as technician in their laboratory in Copenhagen.

Our client collaborates with many leading universities in this research and highly technical area. Our client’s research lab has a very high priority with our client and this is a unique opportunity to work with leading professionals in this area.

The job
In this role you will play an important role as supporter to the team and the experimental work to improving and strengthen the lab infrastructure. Job tasks will be within:

  • Processing of Si and III-V material based on standard operating procedures
  • Monitoring the process results and device characteristics quantitatively/qualitatively 
  • Nanomanipulation, SEM metrology, thin film deposition, lithography
  • Fabrication tool monitoring / process control
  • Reporting to nanofabrication lead

Moreover you will be working in a local cleanroom with a broad spectrum of recently purchased high end cleanroom equipment.

Who are you?
For this role we are looking for a highly motivated nanofabrication engineer with experience within SOP development and application, in-line monitoring, and device analysis. Moreover you have cleanroom experience. It is important that you are fully aware of the importance of process control, SOPs, and tool monitoring. This position also requires you being fluent in English, both oral and written, and that you are an expert in using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.

As a person you are a strong communicator, you are highly organized and interested in solving technical problems that require collaboration between differently skilled technicians and engineers. You are efficient, timely, precise, and know the importance of documenting and sharing knowledge.

Ideally you have a semiconductor or research lab background and it is desirable if you have experience within nanofabrication on techniques such as lithography (UV and ebeam), thin film deposition (ebeam evaporation and sputting), etching and metrology (SEM, AFM).

You will be employed by Adecco, but working full-time at our client’s location. Some weekend work may be required from time to time.
